• Subiect: During the March-April period of 1980, at the request of the State Protocole Department. The Museum of the Municipality of Bucharest has undertaken archaeological diggings in an area where a new part of the Cotroceni Palace was to be built, and also on the high terrace of the right shore of the Dâmboviţa river. On this occasion. a wide dwelling was discovered in the North-North-East and North-West areas, where vestiges were found, dating from the Bronze Age, up to the modern and contemporary epochs. These discoveries attest a continuous inhabitance, and offer indices concerning the Bucharestans' life in the area.
