• Subiect: Together with a large quantity of pottery and anthropomorphic and zoomorphic statuettes, complete or fragmented, discovered during Dinu V. Rosetti 's excavations from 1932-1934, a number of clay and bone plates were also identified. Their incisions were intentionally made to serve the quantitative evidence of human activities, by the individuals of the Gumelniţa culture. Together with the Tărtăria type plates, uncovered in several Vinca and Gumelniţa sites, the Vidra plates bring new elements regarding the quantitative evaluation of the human activities and the patrimony of the Neolithic in the Carpathian-Danube area.
